Centrifugal or rotary orienting parts feeders are generally used where higher feed rates are necessary. They also generate less noise than a similar application in a vibratory bowl. Many sizes are available in both single and dual independent speed driven disc models. Stainless and urethane coated discs are common for food and drug applications.

A correctly sized hopper is very important and must be used with rotary feeders as they have very little capacity for part storage.
